4K content shows fine details, strong contrast and precise colours – the key factor is the signal processing in the player. This model uses powerful processing technology to analyse and improve image data from Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and streaming sources. This creates a clear picture, even in complex scenes with high dynamic range. At the same time, existing material is upscaled to 4K, so older content also looks better.
4K image processing with HDR adjustment
Several HDR formats are used at the same time to make sure content from different sources is shown correctly. HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG are available and are adjusted dynamically. In addition, HDR processing optimises playback depending on the connected TV. The result is finely graded brightness levels and natural colour transitions.
Audio output with separate signal paths
The audio section is designed for high-quality playback and uses separate circuits for stable signals. It supports many audio formats such as FLAC, WAV, DSD or ALAC in high resolution. Analogue outputs, including XLR and 7.1 RCA, offer flexible connection options for different audio systems. Modern surround formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are also supported.
Streaming and network functions
In addition to disc playback, the device also plays content from the network and online services. Platforms such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Video are integrated and deliver 4K content directly to your TV. The integrated WiFi allows access to media servers and external storage in your home network. A Miracast function is also available to mirror content from mobile devices.
Construction and control
The case is made of aluminium and weighs 7.8 kg, which reduces vibrations and supports signal quality. Control is done via the remote control or external voice services. A dot matrix display provides clear status information. With two HDMI outputs, video and audio signals can be sent separately.
