KNIPEX STX60 Cable Stripping Tool
Stripping large-diameter cables requires control, precision, and secure guidance. This tool assists you in making circumferential and longitudinal cuts on hard, tough cable sheaths ranging from Ø 30 to 60 mm. Its design is built for durability and facilitates clean work, even with thick insulation. This allows for the precise removal of cable sheaths without damaging the inner conductor.
Quick adjustment for varying cable diameters
Diameter adjustments are made directly on the tool, requiring no part replacements. A quick-adjustment feature combined with fine adjustment via a rotary knob allows the tool to adapt to various cable sizes between 30 and 60 mm. The adjustable precision blade achieves a cutting depth of up to 6.5 mm and is suitable for robust insulation types, such as those found on rubber-sheathed cables. The blade can be fully retracted for transport and storage.
Designed for demanding applications
Mounted guide rollers facilitate precise longitudinal and circumferential cuts, ensuring smooth movement along the cable. Two mechanisms are available for longitudinal cutting: manual operation using a fold-out pulling aid, or a mechanical ratchet for low-effort feed. The die-cast aluminum housing is built to withstand heavy loads, making it suitable for applications in industry, PV and wind power systems, shipbuilding, and mobile power supply.
