The BP-U70 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 72 Wh offers an ideal balance between capacity and weight for many professional video applications.
The battery status is continuously transmitted to the camera. Remaining capacity is displayed on the camera's LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing the operator to easily and accurately monitor battery status during shooting.
The BP-U70 offers significantly higher capacity with the same charging time compared to the previous generation BP-U60 battery.
