Designer Patricia Urquiola developed the collection together with a model maker, using handcrafted prototypes as the basis.

The name "Clivo" comes from the Latin word for hill and refers to the design idea of ​​removing material layer by layer. This creates organic lines reminiscent of the natural structure of bamboo. The stainless steel components capture this aesthetic and translate it into modern tableware.
