The Bosch GluePen sets new standards in hot gluing: Its pen shape makes it very small and handy, and the fine nozzle allows precise work. This makes hot gluing suitable for everyday use. Whether you need to seal parcels, give the knitted teddy bear a nose or fix a loose cupboard knob: From classic craft and repair jobs to gift wrapping, everything is possible.
Using the GluePen is simple: Insert a glue stick, switch on the device, wait 15 seconds and you can glue almost all materials such as paper, cardboard, textiles, leather, cork as well as wood, metal, plastic and even stone. The glue sets within seconds, so you save the trouble of drying and pressing before the parts hold together.
Extra fine nozzle with automatic glue retraction
The GluePen nozzle is much finer than that of a hot glue gun. This allows more precise glue application. Another advantage is the small and handy design: You can use the GluePen even in places that a hot glue gun cannot reach. Gluing with the GluePen is also clean: When you release the feed button, excess glue is automatically pulled back into the device. This makes work drip-free and neat. In addition, the dosing tip cannot stick or clog, unlike conventional glue tubes. The hot glue sticks used also have advantages over conventional adhesives: They can be stored for a long time and do not dry out.
Safe work with the Bosch GluePen
The heating element of the GluePen is very small and heats only the nozzle and the device head where it is built in. The device sits securely in your hand thanks to a grip recess similar to a fountain pen. This prevents you from accidentally touching the nozzle or head while holding it.
The cordless device has a built-in lithium-ion battery and gives you maximum freedom of movement. The lithium-ion battery hardly discharges itself and is always ready for use – even after long breaks between uses. There is no memory effect: You can recharge the battery at any time without losing performance. One battery charge is enough for up to six glue sticks. The battery is charged via a charger with a micro-USB connection.
